I had a great time performing in Cabo San Lucas this past winter — more about that in future postings — and now I’m ready to rock in Pagosa Springs during our glorious summer months.

This summer’s calendar is beginning to be shape up with some amazing shows on the horizon. This summer, I will be working with a couple different groups that I perform with here in the Four Corners area. Here is the rundown…

Lately, I’m having a blast performing with Groove Casters, a 10-piece adult group (w/horn section) out of Durango, emanating from the Stillwater Music school. We play out in the community at different events and festivals. Groove Casters showcases music ranging from Funk, Latin, Rock, Jazz & Pop…. and covers songs from such artists as Boston, Kansas, Peter Tosh, Pink Floyd, Journey, Lionel Ritchie, Mark Ronson, Cold Play, Led Zeppelin, Ohio Players, Kool & The Gang, Santana, Midnight Oil, Dire Straits, Beach Boys… the list goes on… and on…

The second project I am involved with is called Broke With Expensive Taste or ‘BWET.’ This eclectic musical project has a few variations depending on the venue, consisting of one of the following: Duo, Trio, 5-piece and 7-piece collaborations. Each group features its own style of tunes, creating different shows for each venue. BWET songs range between Jazz, Soft Rock, Pop… and my favorite: Dance Your Booty Off Party Band Favorites.

Hope to catch you out enjoying and supporting local music…
